You are welcome to lay on the heated amethyst mat during your session.  Amethyst is a very healing stone.  The heat goes into your body 4 to 6 inches via far infra red light.  Jade used to be used in these mats but amethyst has 200% more healing power which is why it's used now.  Your head will rest on an amethest and raw black tourmaline pillow.  The amethyst helps you heal while the tourmaline keeps you grounded.  Just let me know you want to use this mat when you schedule your appointment.  It will be heated and ready by the time you get here.
