Here is wishing everyone a great start to a year that holds promise of dreams fulfilled for us all.
First, let me thank you for subscribing to this newsletter. As time goes on it will grow and change. Your input is most welcome - after all, you are who it is written for!
In the coming year I hope to mold this type-written format into an area of education for all of us. If there is a special digitizing technique you want to learn, let me know. If there are any specific desires, just write me and I'll see what we can do.
Today I'd like to introduce Mary to you. She was created only an hour ago. This sweet little girl is waiting for sun or rain, she's not sure which but is prepared for either.
The monthly designs will not be released for general purchase by the public until the next new monthly design is sent to you. In the future I plan to have packs of designs that have some sort of theme available to purchase. You will have first opportunity and these packs will also be held back for one month before being released to the general public.
I hope to see many of you at the Long Beach ISS. Jim will have his own Fixyourstitch/Hook Wash booth there - #1854. I will be working in the booth next to his, in the Mascot Madness booth which is #1858, showing the starter pack of the School Mascots available through School Stitch, the company Ed Levy and I have together. There may be a 2nd pack of mascots available by show-time - it will be called Lil' Hawks and is comprised of child-like hawk designs. The packs done in conjunction with Mascot Madness are separate from any Black Eagle designs and will only be released to the public, no pre-sales or pre-views.
Do you receive Stitches magazine? The subscription is free and you can subscribe at www.stitches.com should you desire to do so. This magazine has changed over the last several months, becoming very responsive to our needs as embroiderers. New columns are added continually it seems so we will be receiving a thicker magazine as time continues due to the changes being made by the staff that is now in place.
There may well be a 2nd newsletter this month. I wanted to get this out to you today and get the ball rolling on a monthly missive.
