This month's design has nothing to do with the holiday however... decided to do something else besides a holiday theme this time.
This month we have a new design called Phoenix 1. It's the start of a series of this bird. The attached design is nearly 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall, is one color and comprised of a run stitch. It has 10,689 stitches. There will be several others in the series and for the most part will be run stitch designs.
We are working on the possibility of webinar teaching for our subscribers. High speed internet is required to attend a webinar. Dial-up cannot accommodate it. More as this comes to the forefront.
Each month you will now find this month's design attached as well as the preceding month. We have new subscribers being added nearly daily. Designs are not downloadable on this site in an effort to prevent a mirroring of the site so I was sending out designs individually. By attaching both the new and the old design it will be more streamlined here.
Thank you for not sharing these files. As subscribers, you have them for 30 days prior to when they are sold to the general public. If someone you know would like the design, please ask them to subscribe. I just wanted you all to know I appreciate you taking good care of the designs. :-)
Let's talk density chart. One question I hear a lot is about density in a design. Do any of you have questions on density? Have you run a density chart? If you have digitizing capability you can run a fill or a satin column set to decreasing and increasing densities on the fabrics you most commonly stitch on. Remember, white thread often requires more density than other colors because all color has been bleached out of it. Dark fabrics often show through white thread set at a density of other colors, and those other colors cover quite well. If you are interested in having me create a density file you can run on your machine, let me know and I'll produce that for next month.
In a few months I'll be debuting my Vegan Clothing Line. I'll announce it here first. It's been in the works for a bit and is time to bring it out to the public. I am excited for this! Work on this venture continues between the digitizing and teaching classes.
