I do not know about that as I'm not getting any of either! You will notice this month's design is not a flower but the title seemed catchy..........
We all have renewal in our lives and this is what the Phoenix symbolizes to me. The design for the month is the second in the Phoenix series. Next month will bring the third and most likely final Phoenix for this collection. In June we are moving to Mandalas.
The Vegan clothing line is nearing its debut. I am in the process of completing designs. At this time the clothing will be embroidered but the future will see screen printing as well once a soy-ink printer can be located. If any of you know a source for this type of work the information would be most welcomed here.
Education in our field remains one of the most important things an embroiderer can invest in be it monetarily or time-wise. To this end I'd like to extend the invitation to all Pulse software users (Tajima DG/ML by Pulse)to attend the free bi-monthly webinars Hirsch International generously hosts. The webinars are one hour long and you can ask any question you like regarding use of the software. You view the presenter's screen where demonstrations are given based on attendee questions. Audio is through your phone. The next webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 2 pm Eastern. Go to www.hirschinternational.com and choose Events at the top of the page. From there, go to Educational Seminars and scroll down until you see X2 symbol then register. These events are staggered so one is at 2 pm Eastern then one is at 10 am Eastern the next time. Space is limited.
This next week will see some new additions under the Good Reads area.
On the Hook Wash front, I'm pleased to say we've several distributors for our product. Hirsch, CES, Hook Wash USA, Texmac, Hook Wash Canada and Rubenstein all carry the Hook Wash now. To find a distributor please go to www.hookwash.com. Sites and contact information is listed under the Distributor Tab.
I plan to debut embroidery on hand made paper in the next month or two so keep an eye out for this type of work.
